Single in the City : The bad boy part 2

So we are now going into month two and honestly he's last longer than anyone in the one year "no relationship movement "(I need to come up with a better name than that lol.

Well the dating aspect has been great. We were doing really well getting to know each other , he's been a great rock for me as I am going through so many struggles right now in my life and has been a great support system. We had a date set up a couple of weeks ago we had a impromptu date night the Friday before had tacos ,listen to some music it was a great night . The bowling night was planned earlier that week . When the time got close I called him he didn't pick up but called me about 2 hours later stating we were still on. I got dressed called him back to see if he was on the road he never picked up . I would also like to add that the night prior his child's mother was blowing up his phone and he refused to pick up even after me offering to give him privacy. So fast forward to Saturday night me on my couch eating blue bell and still no call or text from him . so I called no reply and he called me two hours later to tell me the date was still on and to get dressed .so I did and called him only for me to get a voicemail again.I spoke with him the next day he tells me he was sleep . I honestly was a little confused since we had just talked well i called him back later that evening after we got into a tiff and he also didn't answer the phone that evening. So the next day when I was able to get in touch with him he stated that he saw i called but he was having a good day and didn't want it ruined. that also didn't sit well with me and i told him to go on about his life. he then ranted that this was what was wrong with black women they do not see a good man in front of them and allow their ignorance to get in the way. he stated I was a cool chick and beautiful but i needed to get off my high horse otherwise I would be single forever. So he thought more about what he said to me and came back and apologized , I am noticing the dates are set up as something planned by him but we end up going to the beach and not following through with the initial date idea. also noticing conversations are becoming few and far between and attempting to be replaced by sex talk. also noticing the ex/baby mothers drama is also appearing as well. I am honestly trying to be as optimistic about this but as this week is going on it; its becoming more difficult to do so .
