I waited an entire month before I decided to feature him on the Blog so I actually met him online we talked for a few days and then I went out to New Orleans and the funny thing is I was sitting at the airport just getting something small like a drink of water and he looked at me and said I know you i told him no he did not but then he whipped out his phone and showed me his tinder and our messages and I was like oh my Gosh yeah that's me we talked a little bit before it was time for me to catch my flight out to New Orleans and we continue to talk on Tinder up until the time a few weeks go by we still are talking on Tinder and finally I decided which is something that I hardly ever do to give my number to we chatted on the phone the great conversation got to know a lot about his kids and about the children's mothers and his life and he was married at some point one of the questions that I asked him brought up details about a non-profit organization so I asked him what made him pick that particular reason for non-profit organization he stated one of its goals was to have a non-profit organization for homeless people so I assume that at some point of his life he had been homeless because usually people who have these sort of organizations it's something that's near and dear to their heart he stated to me that it didn't have anything to do with being homeless but he also was very interested in helping young black youth he said he ran into a little bit of trouble in his early twenties and he just doesn't want some men that do not have that father role in their life to go through the same thing. makes sense so I asked him what exactly did you do what happened and then he said Google me he kind of chuckled i thought he was joking that it was one of those narcissistic things that you do but later on that evening I Googled it and just from the Google search it told me that he basically had killed a cop. So I was a little taken back I didn't want to prejudge but the information that was online basically said that he had killed a cop and that he had only served a couple years for it so when I said I'll talk with him after work I talked with him the next day he told me that there was a point of his life where he was selling drugs he was at a hotel and with a family member the family member came back into the hotel room so there was a fight that was going on and he basically needed backup so he went out there with them and as soon as he got dressed and got out to get ready there were people running and chasing them so at that point in his life when someone is running after you and they are guns drawn you shoot. He didn't serve much time and started his life over had his sons and is model citizen considering his past. We met up for coffee this past weekend conversation still great however last night he went on a 50 minute rant about conspiracy theory on his very own black movement. Imagine afrikan conscious mixed with a conspiracy theory yea all of that 50 mins no stopping I had to ask him to stop and we got off the phone :(
