Single in the city: late night thoughts am I ready?

I have had a few chances to get into a relationship and every so often I will go through my list of things to do before I get into a relationship and I really want to do those things before being with anyone and I'm just not getting that feeling that I want to even be coupled . I have no clue what that feeling should feel like or if I am even supposed to feel it . I am however very much at peace with being single and the moment really stuck when someone that I was dating not even remotely close to being exclusive with told me he loved me but honestly could not explained where the feelings came from there are a few things I know love when it's right is pretty fantastic another thing if you love someone you know exactly why you do so single it is and single I stay .
