Single in the city :The chef and the intellectual **update**

Short post clearly both are being meshed together since their stories are short and I don't see them progressing another week.( this was made before my date with mr. intellectual )

The chef: we have a lot in common he has his own catering company and is a single father ,however it's now hitting into a month he lives 15 minutes from me and has set up at least 2 dates and we have still not met. There were a few occasions when he seems very depressed and honestly talking to him on the phone even brought my mood down which that hardly happens lol . Then he reaches out a few days later and is back to his normal self I asked him this last time was everything ok and he stated when his ex gets their son he's sad ( which is very sweet but this is waaay beyond being sad ) so I'm slowly pulling back from him .

Mr intellectual : has a great career first generation graduate from college in his family and grew up in texas (family is orginally from Nigeria ) . We have the same taste in music,love to travel and love great food he also had set up several dates and just went ghost the day of this past week I was stepping back again when he actually followed through last night . He asked different I wanted to go out for drinks last night he suggested a place but me knowing that he likes good food I suggested we head over to my favorite place on a Tuesday night that had cheap tacos and drinks . We ate and talked more about his goals and his family and played some pool and threw some darts . And a fight broke out in the bar area thought it was kinda cute when he tried to protect me lol. We do not agree on a lot of issues but his way of discussion is refreshing and a little sexy he didn't change my mind but it made me think a little which is seldom. He also set up another date this week a concert in houston but mother nature didn't agree that we needed to see each other last night so it rained like cats and dogs lol .

The chef:

So I'm going for a trip this week to New Orleans and when I got back it would have been a month since I started communicating with the chef and I have yet to meet him in person. Last night I was supposed to call him back and didn't this morning I get the text below.. I'm assuming he's in his feelings again and sent my response. Apparently he found my blog and didn't like the fact that he's a feature in it . Now I will be honest usually anyone that goes in my blogs either do something very foolish or very good but not everyone goes in the blog if the story is small or just.not worth mentioning. Now with that being said Hello Chef lol and thanks again for doing me the favor of cutting this short 3 days earlier than I would have *blows kisses*

The intellectual :So he redeemed himself a few weeks ago after many dates that were set up and never happened I'm finding now that he is requesting for date nights at the house with "massages" this is after he asked for me to not sign up for overtime last Tuesday for another date night and then never reaching out to me and several nights of telling me hell call.me back and he never did I heard back from him at 4am when I was in new Orleans . So I've decide to just take a step back all together from him .
